Grants and Trusts Coordinator
We are looking for a new Grants and Trusts Coordinator to join our team at Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Refugee Forum. The primary responsibility for this role will be developing and delivering grants strategy to generate income through trusts and commissioned services ensuring the organisation can continue to support refugees and asylum seekers across Nottinghamshire.
Your main duties will include:
- Leading on the development, implementation and monitoring of grants and trusts applications and a grant bidding strategy
- Researching and acting on funding opportunities to generate income
- Preparing high-quality funding applications and supporting materials
- Recruiting and supervising volunteer members of Grants Committee, to enable them to effectively support the delivery of our strategic and operational grants bidding
- Managing relationships with funders and maintaining a grants database
- Developing and managing a calendar of application deadlines and reporting requirements
- Reviewing and supporting the preparation of funder reports to ensure quality and compliance
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an overall income generation strategy
- Contributing to organisational activities, events and team working across the organisation
We are looking for someone with a strong track record in securing grant funding and achieving income targets, with excellent writing and communication skills. You will need to be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
You should have a good understanding of the UK funding environment, experience of producing high-quality funder reports, and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Part-time, 10 hours/week
Salary: £29,933.61 per annum, pro rata
Contract: Fixed term for 12 months (extension subject to meeting targets)
