Other Ways to Give
Food Donations
Every week we give away food to those of our clients who have no support at all. Our food bank helps to alleviate some degree of food poverty and gives our clients some choice, nutrition and variety in their weekly groceries.
This group has been going for over over 15 years, run almost entirely by volunteers. We buy most of our food from supermarkets and a local grocer but are also very grateful to those who have donated food directly.

We buy these every week – it would be fantastic if you could donate anything on the list so we can save money for other vital services

Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving is an easy and tax-efficient way to donate regularly to charity straight from your gross pay. More than 4,000 employers currently offer Payroll Giving. It is a great way to support the future of the Forum and offer a warm welcome to families and individuals who live as refugees in Nottingham & Nottinghamshire.
Payroll Giving is paid through PAYE from someone’s wages. Your employer needs to set up and run the Payroll Giving Scheme, you can increase or cancel your donation at any time through your payroll department. Many workplaces offer to match their employees’ donations. Check with your employer to see if they can make your donation go even further.
Employers can contact a Payroll Giving agency such as Charitable Giving, CAF or Charities Trust, to set up a Scheme. You won’t be charged for setting up a Payroll Giving scheme, and there’s no need to purchase new software.
