Last week Project Coordinator Sophie, volunteer Paul and clients from the Anti-Destitution Project enjoyed a day out in the beautiful Peak District.
The group headed out on a long walk around the Longshaw Estate, taking in the historical and geological significance of the area (thank you to Paul for the interesting facts!). Aside from a tiny downpour, the weather was pleasant which meant we were able to enjoy a tasty picnic prepared by NNRF’s community café, and a delicious coffee and snack from the coffee shop once we had finished our walk.
This trip was made possible by the generous donations we receive from the general public and plays a massive role in improving the general wellbeing of our client group.
