We are appealing for donations of old or unused mobile phones to give to vulnerable asylum seekers and refugees.
Being able to make and receive phone calls to services such as the Home Office, asylum support and homelessness services is essential for our clients to find solutions. We have seen the effect of digital isolation, which can halt our clients’ progress in many areas of the asylum system.
We rely entirely on donations to be able to give out phones to our clients and our supply is currently very low. If you have any old or unused phones at home, please consider donating them to us. Phones must be in working condition and have been factory reset so none of the previous owner’s information is still on the phone.
Donations can be made to our reception desk, Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm.
