From November 28 until December 5, double your donation
This year, we aim to raise £10,800 in one week
We aim to run a fully stable and well-functioning food bank for a whole year. Once the food bank is secured, our project will be able to expand its scope and focus on offering social and creative activities or even day trips.
We provide a warm, welcoming and inclusive space for clients to relax on Fridays. They can access the Food Bank, which includes a selection of groceries, toiletries and a hot meal from our Community Café. We receive regular donations of non-perishable items from the community, but we also buy fresh vegetables and meat.
With the Christmas Challenge, we aim to increase our level of essential support and the capacity of our Food Bank for destitute asylum seekers, as the demands keeps on growing. Extending our scope and reaching more vulnerable refused asylum seekers is our priority.
