Nottingham Refugee Forum is proud to be one of the official charity partners of the 2025 Robin Hood Half Marathon and we’d love you to join our team.
From experienced runners to those looking for a new challenge, this fantastic event is for all levels, and a great way to get fit while raising vital funds to support asylum seekers and refugees in Nottingham.
Entries are now open, and we have 15 free Half Marathon places available. All we ask is a commitment to raise a minimum of £250 for us.
When: Sunday 28 September 2025
Where: Starting and ending in Nottingham’s Victoria Embankment
How do I sign up for a free charity place?
If you would like to run for us, we kindly ask our supporters to raise a minimum of £250, and in return we will assist you with fundraising, provide a training schedule, and offer pre-race and race-day support. Please complete our online form, or email Sam via fundraising@nottsrefugeeforum.org.uk.
I have already signed up for my own place – can I still run for Nottingham Refugee Forum?
Of course! The more the merrier. If you have your own place we’d love you to join our team. We will provide all the same support as someone with one of our “charity places”, however we won’t ask you to raise a minimum amount. Instead, if you do raise £250 we will reimburse your entry fee. Please get in touch via fundraising@nottsrefugeeforum.org.uk, and set up a Justgiving page here.
