We had a wonderful time taking part in the Nottingham Green Festival on 10th September.
The Green Festival, celebrating it’s 30th anniversary this year, is a family-friendly free event gathering artists, charities, environmental organisations and artists at the Arboretum.
We had a stand at the event and were extremely lucky with the weather, the rain only arrived at 3pm and did not discourage visitors. 78 people stopped by our stall to chat with us and learn about our upcoming events and volunteers opportunities. It was a great opportunity to make new contacts and share our projects and updates. Visitors told us “to keep up the good work” and had kind words for the Forum. This encouragement means a lot to us, thank you!
Thank you to our amazing team of volunteers who taught passers by how to make stars and magical wands with willow from our Community Garden.
